NEWS: WHALES ON THE BEACH OF CAPE TOWN

Pictures of the whale cleanup that took place on Kommetjie Beach this morning. The beach was once again secured by members of the Cape Town Metro Police from about 6am. Members of the public were not allowed to access the beach. Many locals wanting to stroll along the beach or walk their dogs were turned away or asked to leave. 
Members of the press were not allowed access until almost nine o' clock. 
The Cape Town municipalities solid waste division moved in with three digger loaders and loaded the whale carcasses on to trucks and they were then taken away.
